Marietta Patricia Leis is an internationally exhibiting multimedia artist and poet. Leis’ reductive, expressive visual practice is shaped out of experiments in material process and takes inspiration from the forms of nature, sense of place and the internal landscape. Originally from New Jersey, she has lived and worked in New York City as well as Los Angeles, and is currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
