August marks the second anniversary of the passing of our friend, the incredible artist and humanist, Hung Liu. Liu once said, when asked about her paintings of women and children from other cultures and races: “We can adopt each other’s children, and we can adopt each other’s ancestors, as well.” You are invited to see and check-in with these ancestors who are both universal and specific.
