Drew Tal grew up in Israel in the 1960’s, when Israel was an exotic blend of world cultures. He became somewhat of an artist-anthropologist, traveling the world absorbing textures and designs from different cultures. Tal considers his works to be a combination of photography and painting, in that he combines the texture and pattern of painting in a way that isn’t often seen in contemporary photography. Tal’s works are featured in outstanding museum and private collections internationally.
