After significant experimentation, Francesco Fossati packed his first natural oil color: ash-gray. This work is the first tube of the first batch of natural oil color ever produced in the artist’s studio. The paint was handcrafted using only natural essences in order to rethink the relationship between picture-making and nature. Each tube of paint is numbered, and the tube marked 00 of every original batch is a work of art, while the rest are shared with over 30 different artists experimenting with rough oil colors in their art.
