Turner Carroll Gallery presents a group show Red featuring the work of Hung Liu, Kate Petley, Rex Ray, Ann Weiner, Greg Murr, Shawn Smith, David Linn, and Deborah Oropallo. Each of these artists incorporates the international color and concept of red in their works in various ways. For some, red is a symbol of good fortune and good luck; for others red is a symbol of power, passion, and lust; and in some cases red even comments on the political climate in which many of these artists were raised.
