was busy at SFMOMA this November. On 8 November 2018 Hung was part of the conversation between curators Philip Tinari and Alexandra Munroe, from the exhibition Art and China after 1989: Theater of the World, with fellow artists Xu Tan, and Yang Jiechang, in a discussion on the climate of contemporary art in China.In addition, SFMOMA released a new interview with Hung. The video interview,
“Hung Liu on guns, art, history, forced labor, and taboos” has Hung discussing “how working in the fields during China’s Cultural Revolution has influenced her art practice.
