Joseph Eads
New abstract paintings composed in the classical method of building the ground from dark to light. Eads makes his own paint from raw pigments; his works address the concept of beauty and unfolding luminosity. Eads has recently returned from a long stay in Peru, and this body of his work is heavily influenced by his studies there. Eads currently resides in Santa Fe, though his work has been widely exhibited internationally.
Opening reception Friday, June 4, from 5-7 pm.
The artist will be present for the opening.
