As the title suggests, “Quiet / Disquiet” explores dualities, emptiness and fullness, time passing and time frozen. As David states, “my goal was to express a sense of immense stillness and silence; the fragility of objects and human life and the disquiet that lies under the surface of the placid and still. By distilling down to the essentials, everyday objects are perceived in a new way.”
