“With this piece, I wanted to look at the idea of speaking out by looking at the way that a singular opinion often dominates a space, and how this singular mindset doesn’t allow other ideas to exist. With the repetition of the dirty, dilapidated cans, I wanted to show the toxicity of this idea and show how this repetition and singularity will never leave room for growth or progress.” Alex McLaughlin
