This stunning artwork is comprised of several highly significant components. The elements include a cut out lithograph of the champagne bottle Christo and Jeanne-Claude drew to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Landfall Press, the cloth that would have wrapped the bottle, with hand drawn instructions from Christo, and a personal note from Jeanne-Claude to Jack Lemon, founder of Landfall Press. The note from Jeanne-Claude has the added appeal of being written on the type of paper Christo and Jeanne-Claude used regularly to wrap their artworks. It was a sign of intimacy and friendship.
