Denise Green (born 1946) is an Australian-American contemporary painter and visual artist based in New York City, widely recognized for her role in the New Image Painting movement of the late 1970s. Green’s paintings have been exhibited internationally in over 130 solo shows and multiple retrospectives, and are held in major public collections such as the Museum of Modern Art and the Solomon R.
