Fausto Fernandez-Organic Mishmash of Randomly Drawn Lines is a painting that resembles happiness embodied. Bursts of firework-like crayon scrawls, spray paint, floral wallpaper, and glitter grace the surface of this most accomplished painting by Fernandez. Fernandez has spent his entire life crossing back and forth over the Mexican/American border. He was born in El Paso, but lived in Ciudad Juarez. He went to university in El Paso, but loves his home city of Juarez. Fernandez has exhibited his paintings in museums, art centers, and private collections consistently in both countries. His paintings were featured in major touring museum exhibitions in Texas, Ohio, Tucson, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. He has completed several large public art commissions, including the Phoenix Airport, and most recently, he won the commission to create the public artworks for the Hollywood-Burbank Airport.

Turner Carroll has placed Fausto’s paintings in major private collections across the globe, and is honored to represent such a creatively unique and confident artist. The gallery believes the urbane nature, combined with the gritty materials in Fernandez’ paintings are inspiring and add baroque sense of happiness and optimism to the often bleak contemporary art landscape.
