In the MAM data base, there are four unsigned impressions of the Westermann gravure in the Milwaukee Archive plus the actual copper plate used to print the edition. All of those are designated as Trial Proofs. My guess is that the unsigned impression that TCG is attempting to sell is your BAT. If you were to, in pencil, write BAT on that impression, I would not have a problem with designating it that way. The artist (Westermann 1922-1981) could not sign the BAT, nor did Joanna Beall. She only signed the edition, AP’s, PP’s. Therefore, my best guess is that you have the BAT which is perfectly understandable given that you were the supervising printer/publisher.  I realize this is advice well after the fact. Not designating the proof as a BAT at the time (2000) can be at worst an administrative oversight. However, tradition is that the BAT goes to the supervising printer/publisher. I hope this helps you.
