Say My Name is based on the hat the character Walter White wore in Breaking Bad. Liu printed this work at Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, where Breaking Bad was filmed. She found this hat identical to the one Walter White wore, in her favorite hat store on Central Avenue. She featured this hat in her print Grandfather’s Mountain: The Stone Table, thereby equating her grandfather with the wit of Walter White.
