I love this painting with the use of multiple hues from the purple spectrum. This piece for me is an example of how Jamie Brunson uses the ethereal and earthbound visuals that create realms that exist between heaven and earth. The dark regions seem to relate to the landscape of new Mexico while the lavender separations conjure up early morning twilight. Lavender is a color that increases clairvoyance but also helps with anxiety, insomnia and general restlessness.
