Leonard Koscianski is known for quasi-surrealistic nocturnal images of suburbia imbedded with nascent tensions. His psychologically charged scenes often include snarling dogs, as well as birds, sheep, and pigs caught in dangerous circumstances. Koscianski, who was a student of Wayne Thiebaud, has exhibited widely in the United States, with solo shows in such cities as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New Orleans. This 7 color lithograph, Pleiades, from 1989 was produced at Landfall Press is an ed. 18/35. It is unframed, measures 23.5 x 32″ and is in very good condition.
