Rex Ray was an American artist whose career began creating album covers for musicians such as David Bowie and The Residents. His uber-cool style led him to create prints and collaged paintings. Ray’s artworks have been the subject of multiple gallery and museum exhibitions, including museums such as San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, McNay Art Museum, Akron Art Museum, Monterey Museum of Modern Art, and The Denver Art Museum. His works are also held in the collection of the State of New Mexico Public Art Collection.
