Traian Filip’s I Remember is an amazing etching that always conjures up the most loving and compassionate way the we take care of each other in good times and in bad. We must all be angels! The central figure is Michael the archangel, the first warrior, that seems to be holding back the pain and uncertainty we experience as humans. The hand coming forward to the left seems to be reaching out to comfort and guide. The feminine look of the hand has the energy of a mother. The crown Michael wears atop his head is a city or as I see, the heart of Humanity.
