Princess by Walter Robinson represents the beauty of youth versus aging and decay. The overall shape is reminiscent of a Venetian gondola, formed out of gums and teeth. Teeth are a major, inescapable symbol of aging, as we as humans are limited to only two sets, and thus represent major milestones in our development. Think of the vast effort we go through to preserve our teeth and maintain oral health. Dreams of losing our teeth are common and leave us with a vague sense of dread upon waking.
