End of an Era
The former countries of Eastern Europe fostered artistic talents which lay largely unseen by western eyes until the governmental shifts of 1988-1990.Consequently, some of the most exciting and skilled artists of our generation were able to begin exhibiting their works only in the last decade.
This exhibition highlights some of the finest and most critically acclaimed artists from Russia, Romania, the
Ukraine, and Belarus.
Opening reception Friday, September 3, from 5-7 pm.
Many of the artists will be present for the opening.
