“POLICE STATE” was a performance art piece by Tolokonnikova, reenacting her Siberian prison cell of two years at MoCA LA in June 2025. The piece was, ironically, cut short by the MoCA museum closure due to the influx of national guard troops sent by Donald Trump to Los Angeles.
